My kitchen counter>> Valentines' treats

Heylos to all smart mumz. Am very sure that you all must have planned something special for your better half for Valentines Day. But why not make it more special for our kids whom we love the most, isn't it? So lets make a healthy valentines' treat for your toddler and grown up kids too.

When I make these in the kitchen (As per recipe suggested by CHOCOLATIER’D ACADEMY), it is way too tempting to walk away without grabbing a handful of them. Fresh popcorn and crunchy nuts in caramel drizzled with chocolate! This one is sure to grab your attention..perfect snack for the kids! And trust me it approved by momz as it has granulated/brown sugar and liquid glucose. So here is the secret recipe for loved ones on Valentines Day.

  • 84g granulated sugar /brown sugar
  • 2tbsp water
  • 21g liquid glucose
  • 15g butter
  • 50g peanuts
  • 5 cups popped popcorn
  • 200g dark chocolate
  • A pinch of salt
Method: In a heavy bottomed pan, mix water, sugar, liquid glucose, butter, peanuts and cook over medium high flame until the mixture begins to thicken and reaches amber color.
Remove from heat and add salt , mix well and add popcorn and mix quickly and pour immediately on a tray lined with parchment paper. Let the popcorn cool and decorate with melted dark chocolate. Tada your chocolatey Caramel Popcorn is ready! A must have snacks on Valentines' Day for your lil love. It yummy, tasty and healthy too.
Spread the sweetness with flawless recipes on this valentines' Day!
